The RG-ES220GS-P is a 20-port gigabit smart cloud managed PoE switch from Ruijie's Reyee range. It has 18 gigabit RJ45 ports, 16 of them PoE/PoE+, plus 2 gigabit SFP ports.

What the RG-ES220GS-P is for

Ruijie positions the RG-ES220GS-P as a gigabit access PoE switch for small and medium business networks and CCTV networks. Sixteen ports supply PoE under 802.3at and 802.3af, sharing a 250 W budget, with 40 Gbps of switching capacity.

For cameras, it recognises IP cameras and NVRs, a PoE watchdog can restart a port when a connected camera stops responding, and Ruijie list a 250 metre transmission mode for distant cameras. VLANs can be configured in the Ruijie Cloud app, and statistics monitored remotely.

What you will need

PoE (802.3af) or PoE+ (802.3at) devices such as IP cameras, network cable to each one, and SFP modules only if you want to use the 2 SFP ports for fibre. Keep the combined draw of powered devices within 250 W. A power cable is in the box, with a quick start guide and warranty card.
