Where the extra capability matters

32 areas means one system can cover a building of multiple tenancies, a warehouse split by function, or a site with several outbuildings each on its own schedule.

Dual SIM 3G/4G gives two mobile networks alongside ethernet and Wi-Fi — four possible signalling paths, so an operator outage or weak coverage does not leave the site unmonitored. At 4G speeds video verification uploads fast enough to be useful when an ARC operator is deciding whether to dispatch.

The tag reader is in the panel, so users can arm and disarm without a separate keypad on the wall.

The kit is a starting point. The panel takes 8 keypads, 6 sounders, 4 repeaters, 48 tags, 48 key fobs and up to 48 PIRCAMs — detectors with a camera, so an alarm arrives with a photograph.

Worth knowing before you order

The devices are identical to the 64-zone kits. If 64 zones and 16 areas are enough — and for a house or single shop they almost always are — Kit 1 costs considerably less for the same detectors.

Dual SIM means two data plans for genuine network redundancy. Worth budgeting for.

This kit includes two key fobs, not a keypad — though the panel's built-in tag reader covers arming at the panel. For a wall keypad as well, add a DS-PK1-E-WE.

Indoor only, −10°C to +55°C, and the 12-hour battery is backup rather than a power source.

Do I need 96 zones?

For a house or single retail unit, almost certainly not. This kit suits multi-tenancy buildings, larger commercial sites, or anywhere needing independent arming of many areas.

Is there a keypad in the box?

No — two key fobs. The panel has a tag reader built in; add a DS-PK1-E-WE if you want a wall keypad too.

How many PIRCAMs can I add?

Up to 48, the same as the 64-zone panel. The extra zones take conventional devices.

Can it be professionally monitored?

Yes — SIA DC09, Contact ID, ISUP and ISAPI with video verification. Monitoring is contracted separately.
