The Hikvision DS-PDMCS-EG2-WE(B) is the AX PRO slim magnetic contact — a smaller, discreet sensor and magnet pair for doors and windows where a compact fitting matters more than a long detection gap.
Smaller than the standard contact
At 24 × 104 × 24.4 mm, this is noticeably slimmer than the standard DS-PDMC-EG2-WE(B) — better suited to a uPVC frame, a slim aluminium door or a window where a bulkier sensor would be visually intrusive or physically wouldn't fit.
A wired input built in
Carries an auxiliary wired alarm input — normally open, normally closed or pulse count — so a second wired device on the same door can report through this contact's radio.
43 mm detection gap
Tolerates up to 43 mm between sensor and magnet — less than the standard contact's larger gap, reflecting the tighter fit these slim units are designed for.
Five years on one battery
A single CR2450 cell gives up to five years standby.
Radio built for alarms
Tri-X two-way wireless at 868 MHz, AES-128 encryption, frequency hopping, free-space range 1.6 km. Front and rear tamper.
