DS-TMG035 — 79GHz Anti-Fall Radar for Barrier Gates
The DS-TMG035 is a 79 GHz millimetre-wave radar for barrier gates, supplied in anti-fall configuration. It watches the area under the boom and holds the barrier up while a vehicle or a person is still there, so the boom cannot drop on a car roof or a pedestrian. It replaces a buried inductive loop, which means no saw-cutting the tarmac and nothing to fail when the surface cracks.
Trigger distance is adjustable from 0.3 to 6 m, the response time is 50 ms, and it is rated IP67 for -40 °C to +85 °C. Setup is over a serial port or Bluetooth.

What you'll need
Frequently asked questions
What does an anti-fall radar do?
It stops the boom dropping onto a vehicle. While the radar sees something in the area under the boom, the barrier is held open. It is the safety device, not the thing that opens the barrier.
Does it replace a buried induction loop?
Yes, that is the point of it. No saw-cutting the tarmac, no loop to break when the surface moves, and the trigger distance can be adjusted afterwards without digging anything up.
What is the detection range?
The trigger distance is adjustable from 0.3 to 6 m, over a detection width of 0 to 2 m. The beam is 10° vertically by 38° horizontally.
Will it work in rain and snow?
It is rated IP67 and Hikvision specifies -40 °C to +85 °C. Radar is not affected by rain, fog or headlights the way an optical beam can be.
Do I need both a trigger and an anti-fall radar?
On most lanes, yes. The trigger radar opens the barrier and the anti-fall radar keeps it from dropping on a vehicle. They do different jobs.
Is this genuine UK stock, and how fast is delivery?
Yes. Zenith Security Co. is an authorised Hikvision partner and has been operating since 2012. Orders are delivered within 1–3 working days to addresses in England, Scotland and Wales, and warranty and technical support come direct from us.
