Ajax Superior MotionCam (PhOD) Jeweller - Wireless PIR with Photo Verification
Superior MotionCam (PhOD) Jeweller is an indoor motion detector with a built-in camera. As well as taking photos when it raises an alarm, it can take them when you ask (PhOD stands for photo on demand), when another Ajax detector goes off, on a schedule, or when the system is set or unset. That gives the keyholder or monitoring station a picture of the room to check before acting. Alarms go over the Jeweller radio and photos over the separate Wings radio, and it runs on two CR123A batteries. Choose white or black above.
Also listed as 133214 (white) and 133215 (black). Ajax model ID MC.SP.J.

Common questions
What does PhOD mean?
Photo on demand. As well as photos taken on an alarm, the detector can take a photo when a user asks for one, when another detector is triggered, on a schedule, or when the system is set or unset. Photo on demand and photo by scenario are off until they are switched on in the settings.
How clear are the photos?
You can choose 160 × 120, 320 × 240 or 640 × 480 pixels. Infrared lighting lets it take photos in the dark. Higher resolution takes longer to arrive: up to 20 s at 640 × 480.
How long do the batteries last?
Up to 4 years on the two CR123A batteries supplied, or up to 3 years with photo on demand switched on.
Will a pet set it off?
Ajax rates it to ignore animals up to 20 kg and up to 50 cm tall when it is fitted at 2.4 m as instructed.
Which hub does it need?
A hub with the Wings radio for the photos: Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller, Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller, Hub 2 Plus Jeweller, Superior Hub Hybrid (2G), Superior Hub Hybrid (4G) and Superior Hub Hybrid 2.
