Ajax Superior StreetSiren Plus Jeweller - Wireless Outdoor Siren
Superior StreetSiren Plus Jeweller is a wireless external siren from the Ajax Superior range. Its housing is rated IP54 and IK08 and works from -25 °C to +60 °C, so it can go on an outside wall as well as indoors. It sounds at 85 to 107 dB, offers two alarm sounds and two LED patterns, and has an NFA2P-compliant mode with a red flash once a second. The siren reports attempts to open it, take it off the wall or remove it from its SmartBracket, and it raises an alarm if it detects radio jamming. Eight CR123A lithium batteries give a calculated life of up to 10 years, and it can also run from an external 12 V supply. Supplied in white.

Ajax hubs that use the Jeweller radio, such as Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller, Hub 2 (4G) Jeweller and Hub 2 Plus Jeweller. Keep the hub firmware up to date before pairing, and call us to check an older hub. ReX 2 Jeweller can extend the radio range.

Can it go on an outside wall?
Yes. Ajax rates it for indoor and outdoor use, IP54 and IK08, from -25 °C to +60 °C with humidity up to 95% without condensation. The recommended fitting height is 2.5 m or more.
How long do the batteries last?
Ajax calculates up to 10 years on its eight CR123A lithium batteries. It can also be wired to an external DC supply of 9.6 to 14.4 V (12 V nominal).
What is NFA2P mode?
A setting that meets the French NF&A2P requirements, for systems that need that certification. In this mode the light flashes red once per second. The siren is certified NF&A2P 2 Boucliers.
Is it Grade 3?
No. Ajax lists it as Security Grade 2 and environmental class IV. Ajax makes a separate Grade 3 model, Superior StreetSiren Plus G3 Jeweller.
How is it protected against attack?
The tamper alarm reports the case being opened and the siren being removed from the wall or from its SmartBracket. It also raises an alarm if it detects radio jamming.
