Hikvision DS-KD-ACW2/S Stainless Steel 2-Way Surface Mounting Bracket

The DS-KD-ACW2/S is the stainless steel two-module surface wall mounting bracket for Hikvision's DS-KD8003 modular door station range.

It fixes the door station to the face of the wall with an angled rain shield, exactly as the plastic DS-KD-ACW2 does, but with a stainless steel cover over the installation frame. Specify the steel version where the entrance is exposed or publicly accessible — a street door, a communal block entrance, a commercial unit — and where a plastic frame edge would be the first thing to get knocked or picked at.

Surface mounting is the practical route on solid brick or stone, on listed and period frontages, and on retrofits where the cabling already runs on the surface. Two-module size covers the most common build: a DS-KD8003 camera module plus one other, usually the DS-KD-M card reader or the DS-KD-KP keypad, so visitors get a call button and residents their own way in. Fit a DS-KD-BK blanking module in any slot left empty. For a recessed finish in stainless, use the DS-KD-ACF2/S.
