The Hikvision DS-PWA96-Kit2-WE is the commercial AX PRO kit with a keypad — the 96-zone 4G panel, a wall keypad with tag reader, and the detectors to secure a first area.
Exactly what is in the box
Which of the four kits?
All four share the same sounder, two PIRs and door contact. Only two things vary — the panel, and how people arm the system:
| Kit | Panel | Arming |
| Kit 1 | 64-zone | 2 key fobs |
| Kit 2 | 64-zone | Keypad |
| 96 Kit 1 | 96-zone 4G | 2 key fobs |
| This kit | 96-zone 4G | Keypad |
The keypad matters where several people need access. Each user gets their own code or tag — 46 users and 48 tags on this panel — and the 5,000-event log records who armed or disarmed which area and when. On a commercial site that is often the whole reason for specifying it.
A lost fob has to be deleted and replaced. A code can simply be changed.
Why the 96-zone panel
- 32 independently armed areas — multiple tenancies, a warehouse split by function, outbuildings on separate schedules
- 3G/4G with dual SIM plus ethernet and Wi-Fi — four signalling paths, so one operator's outage does not leave the site unmonitored
- Tag reader in the panel as well, alongside the keypad
- 4 onboard video clips, and up to 48 PIRCAMs for alarms that arrive with a photograph
At 4G speeds video verification uploads fast enough to be useful while an ARC operator is deciding whether to dispatch.

Worth knowing before you order
The detectors are identical across all four kits. If 64 zones and 16 areas are enough — and for a house or single shop they almost always are — Kit 2 costs considerably less for the same devices.
Site the keypad inside the protected area, on the entry route, so the entry timer starts when the door opens.
Dual SIM means two data plans for genuine network redundancy.
Indoor only, −10°C to +55°C. The 12-hour battery is backup, not a power source.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from the 96 Kit 1?
One component — this has a keypad with tag reader; the other has two key fobs. Panel, sounder, PIRs and door contact are identical.
Do I need 96 zones?
For a house or single retail unit, almost certainly not. This suits multi-tenancy buildings and larger commercial sites needing many independently armed areas.
Does the log show who disarmed it?
Yes. With individual codes or tags for up to 46 users, the 5,000-event log records who armed or disarmed and when.
Can I add key fobs too?
Yes — up to 48 fobs and 48 tags alongside the keypad.
Can it be professionally monitored?
Yes — SIA DC09, Contact ID, ISUP and ISAPI with video verification. Monitoring is contracted separately.
