Ajax KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller - Wireless Outdoor Keypad

KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller is a slim wireless keypad for arming and disarming an Ajax alarm from outside the building, such as at a gate, a side door or a garage, and it can also be fitted indoors. Users can sign in with a code, a Tag key fob, a Pass card or a phone with Bluetooth, and there is an option to ask for a passcode as well as the card or fob. Common questions

Can it be fitted outside?

Yes. Ajax designed it for outdoor and indoor use. It is rated IP66 and IK08, environmental class IV, and works from -25 °C to +60 °C.

Can I use a card or fob instead of a code?

Yes. It reads Ajax Tag key fobs and Pass cards, and a phone with the Ajax app and Bluetooth can be used the same way. You can also ask for a passcode after the card or fob for two-step sign-in.

What does the function button do?

You choose in the Ajax app: it can raise a panic alarm, mute a fire alarm, or do nothing.

What if someone tries to guess a code?

After more than 3 wrong codes or unknown cards in a row within 1 minute, the keypad locks. An installer or an admin user sets the lock time in the Ajax app.

How is it powered?

By 2 CR123A batteries, supplied fitted, for up to 2 years. It can also run from a 10.5-14 V DC supply.

Is there any difference between the three model numbers?

Only the colour: 99968 is black, 99969 is graphite and 99967 is white.
