Ajax KeyPad Plus Jeweller - Wireless Keypad with Card Reader
KeyPad Plus Jeweller is a wireless touch keypad that lets people set and unset an Ajax alarm by code or by holding up a Pass card or Tag key fob. The reader uses encrypted DESFire cards, and each card or fob is linked to a named user in the Ajax app, so the event log shows who used it and a lost one can simply be removed. It connects to the hub over the two-way Jeweller radio, up to 1,700 m away in open space, and runs on four AA batteries rated for up to 3.5 years. Choose black or white above. Cards and fobs are sold separately.

Common questions
What is the difference between KeyPad Plus Jeweller and KeyPad Jeweller?
KeyPad Plus Jeweller has a reader for Pass cards and Tag key fobs and runs on four AA batteries. KeyPad Jeweller works by code only and uses four AAA batteries.
Are cards or fobs included?
No. The box holds the keypad, its SmartBracket, batteries, fixings and a guide. Pass cards and Tag key fobs are sold separately in packs.
What if a card or fob is lost?
Each one is linked to a user in the Ajax app, so it can be removed from the system there and will no longer work.
How long do the batteries last?
Ajax rates it at up to 3.5 years on the four AA batteries that come fitted.
What happens if someone tries to guess a code?
After more than 3 wrong codes in a row within 1 minute it locks for between 3 and 180 minutes. An installer or admin user sets the time in the Ajax app.
Can it be fitted outside?
No. It is for indoor use only, at -10 °C to +40 °C.
