Ajax Superior DoorProtect Jeweller - Wireless Door and Window Contact
Superior DoorProtect Jeweller is the Superior range version of the Ajax wireless door contact. The detector fits to the frame and a magnet to the door or window; two reed switches report when they move apart, and short knocks of up to 0.15 s are ignored. It uses the Superior Jeweller radio, with a range of up to 3,000 m in open space, and runs for up to 7 years on one CR123A battery. With the system disarmed it can also make the siren chime when a door opens. Choose white or black above.

Common questions
How is it different from the standard DoorProtect Jeweller?
It is the Superior range version. Ajax quotes a radio range of up to 3,000 m, against up to 1,200 m for DoorProtect Jeweller. Its two reed switches let you fit the magnet on either the left or the right, and a holding screw locks it to its mounting panel.
How long does the battery last?
Ajax quotes up to 7 years on the CR123A battery that comes fitted.
Can I wire another contact into it?
Yes. It has an input for one wired detector with a normally closed (NC) contact, and an outside-mounted terminal clamp is supplied.
Will a rattling door set it off?
It ignores vibrations of up to 0.15 s, which helps with doors and windows that rattle in the wind.
Can it go outside?
No. Ajax designs it for indoor use (IP50), at -10 °C to +40 °C. Fit it on the inside of the frame.
