Ajax Superior KeyPad Outdoor Fibra - Wired Outdoor Keypad
Superior KeyPad Outdoor Fibra is the wired version of the Ajax outdoor keypad, for sites where the alarm is cabled on Ajax's Fibra system. It can be fitted outside, at a gate, a loading door or a side entrance, or indoors. It connects to any point on a Fibra line over 4-core cable, up to 2,000 m from the hub, and takes its power from that line, so there are no batteries to change. Users sign in with a code, a Tag key fob, a Pass card or a phone with Bluetooth, and two-step sign-in can be turned on. It is certified to Security Grade 3. Choose black, graphite or white above.

Works with
Ajax hubs with Fibra lines, such as Superior Hub Hybrid (2G), Superior Hub Hybrid (4G), Superior Hub Hybrid 2 and Superior MegaHub. It does not connect to wireless-only hubs such as Hub 2 (2G) Jeweller. It reads Ajax Tag key fobs and Pass cards (sold separately).
Common questions
Does it need batteries?
No. It is powered from the hub over the Fibra line, at 7-30 V DC. There are no batteries in the box.
Will it work with Hub 2?
No. Hub 2 is a wireless hub with no Fibra lines. This keypad needs a hub with Fibra lines, such as Superior Hub Hybrid 2.
How is it different from KeyPad Outdoor Jeweller?
It is wired on the Fibra line instead of using Jeweller radio and batteries, and it is certified to Security Grade 3 rather than Grade 2. Both are rated IP66 and IK08 for outdoor use.
How far from the hub can it be fitted?
A Fibra line can run up to 2,000 m on 4-core cable, and the keypad can be connected at any point along it.
What if someone tries to guess a code?
After more than 3 wrong codes or unknown cards in a row within 1 minute, the keypad locks. An installer or an admin user sets the lock time in the Ajax app.
Is there any difference between the three model numbers?
Only the colour: 117760 is black, 117761 is graphite and 117759 is white.
