Ajax Superior KeyPad TouchScreen G3 Jeweller - Wireless Touchscreen Keypad

Superior KeyPad TouchScreen G3 Jeweller is a Grade 3 wireless keypad with a 5 inch touch screen, from the Ajax Superior line. Users can set and unset the alarm with a code, a Pass card, a Tag key fob or a phone running the Ajax app over Bluetooth, and the screen lets them change the mode of each security group they have rights to. Common questions

Can I disarm with my phone?

Yes. An Android or iOS phone with the Ajax app and Bluetooth Low Energy 4.2 or later can be used in place of a Pass card or Tag key fob.

Does it need a power supply?

No. It runs on the six AA batteries supplied fitted, rated for up to 1.5 years. Wire it to a 10.5-14 V DC supply if you want the screen always on, and to update its firmware.

What does G3 mean?

It is certified to Security Grade 3 under EN 50131, by TREZOR TEST s.r.o., and uses Superior Jeweller, the radio protocol Ajax uses for its Grade 3 devices.

Can it control lights or other devices?

Yes. A separate tab on the screen holds up to 6 buttons, and each can control one Ajax automation device or a group of them.

What happens if someone tries to guess a code?

After more than 3 wrong codes or unknown cards in a row within 1 minute the keypad locks. An installer or admin user sets the lock time in the Ajax app.

Can it be fitted outside?

No. Ajax rates it for indoor use only, at -10 °C to +40 °C.
