Repairing or upgrading an existing system
A lot of CCTV "repairs" are really a single failed part. Before paying for a call-out, it's worth checking:
No recording? The hard drive is the most common failure. Check the recorder's storage menu; if the drive shows an error, a replacement surveillance drive usually fixes it.
One camera black? Try it on a different recorder port or power supply. A failed 12V adapter or PoE port is common.
All cameras dropping out? On older analogue systems, look at the shared power supply first.
Picture soft or blurred at night? Clean the lens and check for cobwebs; the infrared lights them up.
Call us with the model numbers and we'll check what's compatible. If the system is old analogue, HD-TVI cameras and a new DVR can reuse the existing coax for a much sharper picture without rewiring.
New systems for Smethwick terraces

Access control systems
We supply access control from Paxton and Hikvision: keypads, card and fob readers, face-recognition terminals, maglocks and power supplies, plus video intercoms. A 2-wire intercom reuses an old door-entry cable. For one or two doors a standalone reader is often enough; for more doors, a networked controller makes adding and removing users easier. Doors on escape routes need a fail-safe release.
Burglar alarms
We supply intruder alarms including Hikvision AX PRO wireless kits, plus Texecom, Pyronix, Honeywell and Ajax panels and detectors. The Hik-Connect app can manage Hikvision cameras, AX PRO alarms and Hikvision access control together.
