Fike NSF100R-W-S Conventional Sounder VAD, White Flash, Red
The Fike NSF100R-W-S is an EN54-approved sounder and LED visual alarm device (VAD) in one unit for conventional fire alarm systems. It is designed for buildings where people need to see the alarm as well as hear it, such as offices, retail units, hospitals, universities and commercial or industrial premises, and it combines low power consumption with a high light output. It has a red body, a white flash and a shallow base.
The first-fix base is fitted and wired before the device is added with its bayonet connection, which keeps installation time and cost down. DIL switches select one of 32 tones, high or low light output and a 1 or 2 second flash rate, the volume can be reduced by up to 15 dB, and on high output the white flash gives EN54-23 coverage of W-2.4-7.6 (138 m³). All tones and flashes are fully synchronised, with separate reverse polarity monitoring on the pre-alarm and alarm circuits. For an IP65-rated version with a deep base, choose the NSF100R-W-D.
