The DS-KAB671-S is the protective shield Hikvision publishes for its DS-K1T671M / DS-K1T671MF / DS-K1T671TMW terminals. Face terminals are IP65 rated, but a hood still earns its place outdoors: it keeps rain off the touch screen so it stays usable, shades the camera from low sun that would otherwise wash out recognition, and takes the first knock from a trolley or bag. It is made from polycarbonate (PC) and measures 135 × 250 × 80 mm.
