The DS-KAB673-S1 is the protective shield Hikvision publishes for its DS-K1T673DWX / DS-K1T673DWX-PROE1 terminals. These terminals carry their own ingress rating (IP68 on the PROE1), but a hood still earns its place outdoors: it keeps rain off the touch screen so it stays usable, shades the camera from low sun that would otherwise wash out recognition, and takes the first knock from a trolley or bag. It is made from polycarbonate (PC) and measures 135 × 80 × 250 mm.
