Hikvision & HiLook Supplier for Norwich

Zenith Security Co. · Authorised Hikvision partner · Approved HiLook distributor · Supplying trade and retail since 2012

Norwich CCTV cameras and complete systems, from an authorised Hikvision partner, delivered in 1–2 working days.

If you're looking for CCTV cameras or a CCTV system in Norwich, we can help you choose and supply it. To be clear: Zenith Security Co. is a supplier with a showroom and trade counter in Wolverhampton. We don't install, repair on site, monitor or hire out towers. We do sell genuine Hikvision and HiLook equipment, help you plan it properly, and support it afterwards. If you want it fitted, we may be able to recommend a trade installer, and warranty stays with us.

Choosing CCTV cameras

The camera is only as good as its placement. Before choosing models, decide what each camera has to do:

  • Identify: see a face clearly at a door or gate. Place the camera close and at head height or a little above.
  • Observe: follow what's happening on a drive or in a yard. A wider lens or 8MP model works here.
  • Detect: alert you when someone enters an area. AcuSense filters alerts to people and vehicles.

Turrets are the easiest all-rounder, bullets suit longer views, and domes are good indoors and where tampering is a risk. Our Hikvision IP camera buying guide goes into detail.

Homes in Norwich and the surrounding villages

Norwich's suburbs and the villages beyond often have long, dark evenings with little street lighting. For those properties:

  • ColorVu cameras light the scene with soft white light and record in colour; DarkFighter models are very sensitive in low light.
  • Long drives benefit from 8MP or a varifocal lens.
  • Garages and outbuildings far from the house may need a PoE switch partway, or a wireless bridge.

In the city's older streets and conservation areas, cable routes can be awkward; Wi-Fi cameras need only a power socket, and small turrets are discreet. For DIY, HiLook is Hikvision's own value range, sold direct. See the HiLook buying guide.

Complete CCTV systems

A system is cameras, a recorder and the cabling between them. The easiest way to get the parts right:

Repairing or upgrading an existing system

We see searches for CCTV repairs in Norwich. We can't send an engineer, but often you don't need one. A dead camera, failed hard drive or tired power supply can usually be swapped for a compatible part. If you have an old analogue system, HD-TVI cameras and a new DVR can reuse the coax for a much sharper picture. Call us with the model numbers and we'll help you work out what's needed.

Business sites and trading estates

Warehouses, yards and units need fixed 8MP bullets on gates and loading doors, with a PTZ camera (pan, tilt, zoom) for a wide overview. Shops need door, till and stockroom cameras with storage matched to insurer requirements. Add an intruder alarm or access control and the Hik-Connect app can run Hikvision cameras, AX PRO alarms and access control together. We also stock Dahua; see the Dahua buying guide.

Delivery to Norwich

Order before 2:30pm for delivery to Norwich, Thorpe St Andrew, Costessey, Wymondham, Hellesdon and Taverham, normally within 1–2 working days. Recorders can arrive with the hard drive fitted and formatted. Our showroom is at Unit 3, Park View Centre, 243 Dudley Road, Wolverhampton WV2 3JU.

Trade installers in Norfolk

Installers and electricians can open a trade account for trade prices, delivery to site and technical help by phone.

Getting the most from your system

Once your cameras are up, spend ten minutes on the settings. Set the recorder's time and date correctly so footage is usable as evidence, turn on motion or AcuSense alerts only for the areas that matter, and add privacy masks for neighbouring windows. Check the hard drive status in the menu every few months, and keep firmware up to date. If anything is unclear, call us and we'll talk you through it.

Frequently asked questions

Do you install or repair CCTV in Norwich?

No. We are a supplier, not an installer or repair company, so we do not offer installs, repairs on site or call-outs. We can supply replacement cameras, recorders, hard drives and power supplies, help you diagnose a fault by phone (a chargeable service), and depending on your requirements may be able to recommend a trade installer.

What CCTV works for rural homes around Norwich?

Where there is little street lighting, ColorVu cameras with their own white light, or high-sensitivity DarkFighter models, give much clearer night footage. Long drives suit 8MP or varifocal cameras, and outbuildings far from the house may need a PoE switch or a point-to-point wireless bridge.

Do you deliver to Norwich and Norfolk?

Yes. Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally delivered within 1–2 working days to Norwich, Thorpe St Andrew, Costessey, Wymondham, Hellesdon, Taverham and the rest of Norfolk.

Can I monitor my Norwich CCTV from my phone?

Yes. Hikvision and HiLook recorders work with the free Hik-Connect app for live view, playback and alerts. Hik-Connect can also manage Hikvision AX PRO alarms and access control. We do not provide a paid monitoring service.
