The TP-Link Archer NX200 is a tp link 5g router with a built-in 5G modem (5G NR up to 4.67 Gbps down, 1.25 Gbps up, SA and NSA), 4G Cat19 fallback, a nano SIM slot, AX1800 Wi-Fi 6, one gigabit LAN/WAN port and two gigabit LAN ports.

What the Archer NX200 is for

The Archer NX200 replaces fixed broadband with 5G for homes and small offices, or gives a fast backup line. Eight internal 5G/LTE antennas sit in a compact tower, and two SMA-F connectors allow external antennas in weaker signal areas. EasyMesh, parental controls and QoS are included.

It is set up and managed with TP-Link's Tether app or web interface, not Omada, which keeps it simple for homes and small businesses. Need more wired ports? Add an unmanaged switch.

What you will need

A nano SIM with a 5G or 4G data plan from your chosen network (not included), and network cable for any wired devices. The power adapter and an Ethernet cable are in the box.

5G NR n1/n3/n5/n7/n8/n20/n28/n38/n40/n41/n75/n76/n77/n78, 4G FDD-LTE B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28/B32 and TDD-LTE B38/B40/B41/B42/B43. These include n78, the main UK 5G band, and the main UK 4G bands; check coverage with your provider.

How fast is the Archer NX200?

5G NR up to 4.67 Gbps download and 1.25 Gbps upload; Wi-Fi 6 AX1800. Wired ports are gigabit, so one wired device tops out at 1 Gbps.

Can the Archer NX200 fail over from broadband?

Yes. TP-Link list WAN failover between its LAN/WAN port and the 5G/4G modem.
