The TP-Link Pharos CPE510 is a 5 GHz 802.11n outdoor CPE with a 13 dBi dual-polarised directional antenna, delivering up to 300 Mbps. It has two 10/100 Ethernet ports (the second with passive PoE pass-through) and an IPX5 weatherproof enclosure.
What the CPE510 is for
Pharos CPEs are outdoor point-to-point and point-to-multipoint radios used to link buildings, feed CCTV at remote poles, or deliver WISP internet. Browse more wireless bridges and access points.
The CPE510 is the most widely used Pharos unit: compact, inexpensive and good for multi-kilometre links. Its second port can pass passive PoE on to another device.

What you will need
One CPE at each end of the link (two for point-to-point), clear line of sight, outdoor-rated network cable, and the passive PoE adapter supplied. Pharos CPEs use passive PoE, not 802.3af/at, so do not connect them directly to a standard PoE switch.

What range does the CPE510 have?
TP-Link state system-level optimisation for long-range transmission of more than 15 km; real range depends on line of sight and the device at the other end.
How is the CPE510 powered?
Passive PoE only (16-27 V DC on pins 4,5 + / 7,8 -), with a 24 V adapter in the box. Do not connect it straight to an 802.3af/at PoE switch port. Its second port can pass passive PoE on to another device.
CPE510 or CPE210?
The CPE510 is 5 GHz with a 13 dBi antenna and two ports; the CPE210 is 2.4 GHz with 9 dBi and one port. 5 GHz usually suffers less interference.
Is the CPE510 weatherproof?
Yes. IPX5 waterproof, -40 to 70 °C.
Is the CPE510 Omada compatible?
No. It is a Pharos product, managed through its web interface and the free Pharos Control software, not an Omada controller.
How quickly can I get it?
We ship nationally from our multi-million pound warehouse, with orders leaving daily. Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally dispatched for delivery within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales. You can also collect in store from our trade counter — call first so we can confirm your order is ready. We do not ship to Northern Ireland.
