IES208G — TP-Link Omada 8-Port Gigabit Industrial Easy Managed Switch

The TP-Link Omada IES208G is an industrial easy managed switch with six gigabit RJ45 ports and two gigabit SFP/RJ45 combo slots. It is fanless, mounts on a DIN rail or wall, runs from a 9.6-60V 1+1 redundant DC input and is rated for -40°C to 75°C. It does not supply PoE.

What the IES208G is for

This tp link switch suits control cabinets, factories, transport and outdoor enclosures where an office switch would not survive the temperature range. It links IP cameras, PLCs, controllers and other wired devices, with two combo slots for a fibre or copper uplink. See our range of network switches.

What you will need

The power adapter is not included, so you need a 9.6-60V DC industrial power supply. You also need network cable for each device, SFP modules if you use the combo slots for fibre, and an Omada controller if you want central management.

Does the IES208G support PoE?

No. The IES208G does not supply PoE. The IES210GPP is the industrial Omada model with 6 PoE+ and 2 PoE++ ports.

Is the IES208G TP-Link Omada compatible?

Yes. It can be managed from an Omada Hardware, Software or Cloud-Based Controller and the Omada App. It also has its own web interface, so a controller is optional.

Does the IES208G come with a power supply?

No. TP-Link state the power adapter is not included. It accepts 9.6-60V DC with 1+1 redundant inputs.

What temperature range is the IES208G rated for?

-40°C to 75°C operating, with 5% to 95% non-condensing humidity.

How quickly can I get it?

We ship nationally from our multi-million pound warehouse, with orders leaving daily. Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally dispatched for delivery within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales. You can also collect in store from our trade counter — call first so we can confirm your order is ready. We do not ship to Northern Ireland.
