The TP-Link POE170S is an Omada gigabit PoE++ injector supporting IEEE 802.3bt/at/af with up to 60 W on its power+data-out port, in a metal case.
What the POE170S is for
Use it to power one PoE device such as an access point, IP camera or VoIP phone from a non-PoE switch or router: data goes in one port, data plus power comes out the other. 60 W covers high-power devices such as PTZ cameras and access points that need 802.3bt.
Power and data run up to 100 m. It auto-detects the power the device needs and can be wall or desk mounted. For several devices, a PoE switch is usually better value.
