What the PSM150-AC is for

TP-Link's T3700G and T2700G series network switches take modular power supplies. The PSM150-AC is the AC main power module for them, and as it is hot-swappable it can be replaced without shutting the switch down.

Keeping a spare, or fitting a second module where the switch has a second power bay, keeps a core switch running if a supply fails.
