The TP-Link TL-SF1006P is an unmanaged switch with 6 10/100 Mbps RJ45 ports, 4 of them PoE (67 W budget), in a desktop steel case. It is plug and play, so it works out of the box with no configuration.
What the TL-SF1006P is for
The TL-SF1006P is a PoE switch for powering and connecting IP cameras, Wi-Fi access points and VoIP phones over a single network cable. TP-Link list a PoE budget of 67 W shared across its 4 PoE ports, using 802.3af/at PoE+.
For CCTV, a typical fixed IP camera draws around 7 W or less, so the TL-SF1006P can power roughly 4 cameras at once (check each camera's datasheet; PTZ and heated cameras draw more). TP-Link's Extend Mode allows PoE and data up to 250 m on the supported ports, at reduced speed, for cameras beyond the normal 100 m limit. For larger runs, see our full range of network switches.

What is the PoE budget of the TL-SF1006P and how many IP cameras can it power?
TP-Link list a 67 W PoE budget across 4 PoE ports. At around 7 W per typical fixed IP camera that is roughly 4 cameras; higher-draw PTZ or heated cameras reduce that number.
Which PoE standard does the TL-SF1006P support?
The PoE ports are 802.3af/at compliant, so they power standard PoE (15.4 W) and PoE+ (30 W) devices. They will not power 24 V passive PoE devices.
Is the TL-SF1006P managed or unmanaged?
Unmanaged. It is plug and play with no web interface or VLAN settings; its modes are set with front-panel switches.
Does the TL-SF1006P work with TP-Link Omada?
No, it cannot be adopted or managed by an Omada controller, though it will pass Omada traffic like any switch. If you want Omada management, look at the ES205GP easy managed switch.
Does the TL-SF1006P have an SFP port?
No. All 6 ports are RJ45, so there is no fibre uplink.
Can the TL-SF1006P be rack mounted?
No. It is a desktop steel case, not a rack unit.
