The TP-Link TL-SG1005P-PD is an unmanaged switch with 5 Gigabit RJ45 ports, 4 of them PoE (66 W budget).
The TP-Link TL-SG1005P-PD is an unmanaged switch with 5 Gigabit RJ45 ports, 4 of them PoE (66 W budget), in a desktop steel case. It is itself powered by PoE on port 5, so it needs no mains socket.
The TL-SG1005P-PD is a PoE switch that takes its own power from an upstream PoE source on port 5 and passes PoE on to devices on ports 1-4. TP-Link state the output budget depends on the input: 66 W from an 802.3bt Type 4 (90 W) source, 47 W from Type 3 (60 W), 21 W from 802.3at (30 W) and 9 W from 802.3af (15.4 W).
For CCTV, a typical fixed IP camera draws around 7 W or less, so the TL-SG1005P-PD can power roughly 4 cameras at once (check each camera's datasheet; PTZ and heated cameras draw more). TP-Link's Extend Mode allows PoE and data up to 250 m on the supported ports, at reduced speed, for cameras beyond the normal 100 m limit. For larger runs, see our full range of network switches.

You need network cable for each device and an upstream PoE source (switch or injector) on port 5; the output budget depends on what that source supplies.
We are a supplier, not an installer. We will go through the TL-SG1005P-PD with you before you buy — the port count and speed against your devices and the PoE budget against your cameras or access points — and depending on your requirements and your area we can recommend a qualified trade installer. We have been operating since 2012 and you can visit our trade counter in Wolverhampton.
It depends on the PoE source feeding port 5: TP-Link list 66 W with an 802.3bt Type 4 (90 W) source, 47 W with Type 3 (60 W), 21 W with 802.3at (30 W) and 9 W with 802.3af (15.4 W).
The PoE ports are 802.3af/at compliant, so they power standard PoE (15.4 W) and PoE+ (30 W) devices. They will not power 24 V passive PoE devices.
Unmanaged. It is plug and play with no web interface or VLAN settings; its modes are set with front-panel switches.
No, it cannot be adopted or managed by an Omada controller, though it will pass Omada traffic like any switch. If you want Omada management, look at the ES205GP easy managed switch.
No. All 5 ports are RJ45, so there is no fibre uplink.
No. It is a desktop steel case, not a rack unit.
