Ajax HomeSiren U Jeweller - Wireless Indoor Siren
HomeSiren U Jeweller is a small battery-powered siren for inside a property protected by an Ajax alarm. When the hub raises an alarm it sounds and lights its LED, at a volume you set between 81 and 105 dB (measured at 1 m), for anything from 3 seconds to 3 minutes. It can also give signals for entry and exit delays, arming and disarming and after an alarm, and play a chime when a door opens while the system is off. It talks to the hub over the encrypted two-way Jeweller radio and runs on two CR123A batteries, which Ajax calculates will last up to 5 years. A connector in the box lets you add a separate 3 V LED indicator. Choose black or white above.
Also listed as 121300 (black) and 121299 (white). Ajax model ID HS.S.J-000-EU.

Common questions
How loud is it?
You can set it from 81 to 105 dB, measured at 1 m, and choose an alarm length from 3 seconds to 3 minutes.
How long do the batteries last?
Ajax calculates up to 5 years on the two CR123A batteries, which come fitted.
What is the LED connector for?
It lets you wire in an extra 3 V LED indicator, for example where the siren itself is out of sight. The connector is in the box.
Will it chime when a door opens?
Yes, if you turn on the chime. It then plays a tone when an opening detector is triggered while the system is disarmed.
Can I fit it outside or in a garage?
Ajax rates it for indoor use only (IP50, -10 °C to +40 °C, humidity up to 75%). For outside walls, look at the StreetSiren range.
Is it graded for alarm use?
Yes. It is certified to Security Grade 2 and environmental class II, and listed against PD 6662:2017.
