PoE

PoE injectors, extenders, converters and PoE over coax.

PoE (Power over Ethernet) sends power and data down one network cable. These add-ons help when a switch port can't power a device, or when a run is too long.

Which PoE add-on do I need?

Injector: adds power to a cable from a non-PoE switch.
Extender: takes a PoE run past the usual 100m limit. See PoE extenders.
Converter: changes PoE to another type of power for a device that can't take PoE directly.
PoE over coax: reuses existing coax cable to power and connect an IP camera.
