The Fike 540-0001 is the CIE-A-400, an analogue addressable fire alarm control panel for Fike's Sita range of addressable detectors, call points, sounders and modules. It is supplied with one loop card built in and takes a second card (Fike 540-0003) to run two loops, each carrying up to 200 devices over a loop length of up to 2 km.

The panel addresses every device automatically when the loop starts up, so installers never set addresses by hand and duplicate-address faults are avoided. Each device has its own built-in isolator. Three alarm stages, full zone-to-zone cause and effect across 32 fire zones, 32 extra output zones, alarm confirmation and delay timers let the system follow the building's evacuation strategy.
