AE-VC154T-IT — Mobile analogue DSM (driver monitoring) camera
The Hikvision AE-VC154T-IT is a mobile analogue driver monitoring camera built for vehicle installation, running on 9 to 16 V DC from the vehicle supply and drawing a maximum of 2.5 W. It records at 1280 × 720 resolution. A microphone is built in.
What this camera is for
DSM stands for driver state monitoring. This is an in-cab camera pointed at the driver rather than at the road, so it is fitted alongside a road-facing camera rather than instead of one. The 6 mm lens gives a narrow 60° horizontal field of view suited to framing the driver's position, and the infrared reaches 2 m — enough for the cab, not for the road.
