DS-2DE7A412MCG-EB(B) — 4 MP, 12× Zoom, IP PTZ
The DS-2DE7A412MCG-EB(B) is a 4 MP IP PTZ speed dome with 12× optical zoom and white light to 100 m and IR to 150 m. It runs over network cable to an NVR.
It pans 360° and tilts -15° to 90° (auto flip), holds 300 presets and supports patrol and pattern scans, so it can run a tour unattended.

Frequently asked questions
How much zoom do I need?
This model has 12× optical zoom. As a rule of thumb, 4× suits a forecourt, 15–25× a car park or yard, and 32× or more a long boundary. Digital zoom is not a substitute — it only enlarges pixels.
How far does it see at night?
Hikvision quotes white light to 100 m and IR to 150 m. That is the illumination range, not the identification range.
Will standard PoE power it?
24 VAC, max. 42 W (including max. 12 W for IR and max. 2 W for heater); Hi-PoE. PTZ cameras draw far more than fixed cameras, and an undersized switch is the usual reason a PTZ resets when it moves. Check the figure before ordering.
Can it follow someone automatically?
Auto-tracking varies across the range. Tell us it matters and we will confirm for this model before you order.
Do I still need fixed cameras?
On most sites, yes. A PTZ looks in one direction at a time, so fixed cameras on the entrances give you the constant evidence while the PTZ investigates.
