Frequently asked questions

Will it work with my Hikvision, HiLook or Dahua recorder?

Yes. Any recorder with an HDMI or VGA output will work, whatever the brand.

Can I leave it on all the time?

Hikvision rates it for 7 x 12 hours a day. If you need a screen running day and night, choose a 7 x 24 hour rated model.

Does it have speakers?

No. Hikvision lists no built-in speaker or audio input on this model.

Is 1366 x 768 enough for CCTV?

For one to four cameras on a small screen, yes. For more cameras or 4K cameras, a larger Full HD or 4K monitor shows more detail.

Do you install it?

No. We are a supplier, not an installer, and have been trading since 2012. We deliver within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales.
