The Hikvision DS-D5232F2-1V1S is a 32 inch Full HD monitor. Plug it into your NVR or DVR (the recorder that stores your camera footage) and you'll see live and recorded video in Full HD. Its CVBS input (a BNC socket for analogue video) also takes a camera feed directly, with a CVBS loop output to pass it on. Hikvision rates it for 7 x 24 hour operation. This is the UK version.

What you'll need

• A video cable: Hikvision does not list an HDMI cable in the box.
• A 200 x 200 mm VESA bracket if you want to wall mount it instead of using the base.

Frequently asked questions

Will it work with my Hikvision, HiLook or Dahua recorder?

Yes. Any recorder with an HDMI, DVI or VGA output will work, whatever the brand.

What is the CVBS input for?

CVBS is standard analogue video on a BNC socket. You can connect an analogue camera or a recorder's BNC output directly, and loop it out to another screen.

Can I leave it on all the time?

Yes. Hikvision rates it for 7 x 24 hour operation.

Is an HDMI cable included?

No. The box has the monitor, base, 1.8 m power cord, remote control, screws and manuals.

Do you install it?
