A secure door control module that sits on the protected side of the door and holds the lock relay, so an attacker prising the outdoor terminal or door station off the wall cannot short the lock. The terminal talks to it over RS-485; the module has its own relay, exit-button and door-contact inputs, two alarm inputs and one output. 12 VDC, wall mounted, -40 °C to 70 °C.

Hikvision DS-K2M061 — secure door control module — relay on the safe side
The DS-K2M061 exists because a lock relay inside an outdoor terminal is only as secure as the terminal's housing. Move the relay indoors and the terminal becomes a reader and keypad only: prise it off and there is nothing to short. Hikvision's DS-KD9633-WBE6 door station, for example, notes that its second lock requires a secure door control unit, and the OSDP-capable terminals such as the DS-K1T673DWX-PROE1 and DS-K1T805MBWX are natural partners. Hikvision publishes this model on its UK site.
What it carries
One lock relay, an exit-button input, a door-contact input, two alarm inputs and one alarm output — the full set of door I/O, relocated to the secure side. An RS-485 port links to the terminal or door station and a Wiegand input is provided.
Power and fitting
12 VDC 0.5 A with a power indicator. Wall mounting at 48 × 115 × 26 mm, small enough for a back box above the door. Rated -40 °C to 70 °C and 0–90% humidity.
