Hikvision DS-KH6320-TE1 — 7-inch wired indoor station

The wired member of Hikvision's KH6320 indoor station family. A 7-inch capacitive touch screen at 1024 x 600, two-way audio with noise suppression, an 8-input alarm block and a microSD slot — connected to the system over a single RJ-45 cable, with no Wi-Fi radio inside.

TE1 or WTE1 — which one?

The two are the same handset apart from the radio. The DS-KH6320-WTE1 adds Wi-Fi so it can sit anywhere in range of the router; this TE1 version connects only over Ethernet.

That makes the TE1 the right choice when there is already a data cable to the wall position — new builds with structured cabling, offices, apartment blocks with a wired riser — and saves a little on each unit across a multi-flat scheme. It also means one less Wi-Fi device on the network and nothing to reconfigure if the router password changes. Where there is no cable to the spot, choose the WTE1.

What the resident actually gets

When someone presses the door station, the screen wakes with live video and the call rings through the built-in speaker. The resident can talk to the visitor, see them clearly on the 7-inch panel, and release the door with a single press on screen. Missed calls leave a snapshot. Between calls, the same screen doubles as a small CCTV monitor for up to 16 network cameras — useful in a house or small office where nobody wants a separate screen for the cameras.

Alarm inputs

Eight alarm inputs on the back. Typical use is a door contact so the station shows when the flat door is open, a PIR for a simple internal alert, or a panic button that raises an alarm to a concierge station. These are inputs only — there is no alarm output or lock relay on this unit; door release is handled by the door station.

• A Hikvision IP door station — a DS-KD8003 modular unit for blocks, or a DS-KV villa station for a single dwelling
• A PoE switch port or a 12 VDC supply at the wall position
• A network cable to the mounting point — this model has no Wi-Fi fallback
• The DS-KABH6320-T desk bracket if it is to sit on a counter rather than the wall
• A microSD card if you want call snapshots kept on the unit

Frequently asked questions

Does it have Wi-Fi?

No. This is the wired TE1. For Wi-Fi choose the DS-KH6320-WTE1 — otherwise the two are identical.

Can it release the door?

Yes — the door release is a button on screen during a call. The lock itself is driven from the door station, not from this unit.

How many door stations and cameras can it see?

Up to 17 door stations and 16 network cameras, plus 16 indoor extensions ringing together.

Does it work with the Hik-Connect app?

Calls can be forwarded to the Hik-Connect app through the door station and a network connection, so a resident can answer from a phone as well as from this panel.

Can I mount it on a desk?

Yes, with the DS-KABH6320-T table bracket. As supplied it surface-mounts to the wall.
