The Hikvision DS-PDCO-E-WE is the AX PRO wireless carbon monoxide detector — a ceiling-mounted CO sensor with its own 85 dB local sounder, reporting into the same panel and app as your intrusion detectors.

A detector for the risk you can't see or smell

Carbon monoxide has no smell, colour or taste — a working CO detector is the only way to know it's building up from a faulty boiler, blocked flue or badly ventilated appliance. Putting it on the AX PRO network means the alert reaches your phone the same way an intrusion alert would, even when you're not in the building.

Same dual-battery platform as the smoke and heat detectors

Shares its electronics, sounder and dual-battery design with the DS-PDSMK-E-WE smoke detector and DS-PDHT-E-WE heat detector. The sensor runs on a sealed, non-replaceable Energizer L91 pair rated for 10 years; a separate replaceable CR123A powers the radio, rated for 5 years.

An 85 dB local sounder at 3 m works even if a phone notification is missed.

Alarm sound interlink and self-health check

Linked fire and CO detectors can sound together, and the unit monitors its own condition and reports faults rather than relying on manual testing.

Worth knowing before you order

Two different battery lifespans. The sensor's own cells last the unit's whole 10-year life and are not meant to be opened. The radio's CR123A is replaced periodically — check it in the app.

Site it correctly. Near any fuel-burning appliance — boilers, gas fires, wood burners — and in any room with an attached garage where exhaust fumes could accumulate.

It needs an AX PRO panel. Part of the AX PRO system only.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to replace the sensor's battery?

No — it's sealed and rated for the unit's full 10-year life. Only the separate radio battery (CR123A) needs periodic replacement.

Where should it be mounted?

Ceiling mount, near any fuel-burning appliance or in a room adjacent to an attached garage.

Can it link with my smoke and heat detectors?

Yes — alarm sound interlink means a linked detector sounding triggers this one's sounder too, and vice versa.

Does it work with other alarm panels?

No. It requires a Hikvision AX PRO panel.
