Watch: build a Pyronix alarm kit

The video builds an Enforcer Kit 2 and adds KX12DQ-WE quad PIRs, MC2-WE door contacts, a Deltabell-WE module, a KEYFOB-WE, a SMOKE-WE2 smoke detector and a WL-WE water leak detector.

Step by step

  1. Choose Pyronix. Open the alarm kit builder and pick Pyronix. Prices are shown to everyone, including VAT and ex VAT.
  2. Start from a kit, or skip. Enforcer Kits 1, 2, 3 and 5, the Enforcer kit with remote keypad, the tablet kit and the Euro 46 wireless expansion kits are offered. Popular choices: Enforcer Kit 2 and Enforcer Kit 3.
  3. Control panel. Skip if your kit has one. Otherwise choose the Enforcer 32-WE, the Euro 46 hybrid panel or the Grade 3 Euro 280.
  4. Keypads and cards. The LEDRKP wireless keypad, Euro LCD keypads, proximity readers or the Enforcer Android tablet.
  5. Motion detectors. KX wireless PIRs such as the KX12DQ-WE and pet-tolerant KX10DP-WE, external XD detectors, and wired KX detectors for Euro panels.
  6. Door and window contacts. MC2-WE, MC1 Mini, MCNANO slim contacts and shock sensors.
  7. Sirens. Deltabell-WE modules for the Enforcer, Deltabell E, Plus and X modules for wired panels, and internal sounders. Pick a Deltabell cover colour in the extras step.
  8. Key fobs and panic buttons. The KEYFOB-WE, proximity tags and the HUD/MED-WE medical alert.
  9. Smoke, heat and CO. SMOKE-WE2, HEAT-WE and CO-WE2 detectors that report to the same app as the alarm.
  10. Water leaks. The WL-WE flood detector for kitchens, bathrooms and boiler cupboards.
  11. Extras and accessories. Deltabell covers and backplates, batteries, brackets, communicators and expanders.
  12. Review. Check the list and total, then press Add kit to basket.

Enforcer or Euro?

The Enforcer is Pyronix's two-way wireless alarm, controlled from the free HomeControl+ app, and suits most homes. The Euro 46 is a hybrid panel for wired zones with wireless added through an expansion kit, and the Euro 280 is a Grade 3 panel for commercial sites. Enforcer wireless devices end in -WE; wired devices are labelled in the builder so you can see which panel they need.

Tips for a good Pyronix kit

  • One motion detector per room or hallway; choose the KX10DP-WE where pets roam.
  • A contact on every outside door, plus easy-to-reach windows.
  • A Deltabell siren on the front of the building, with a cover in the colour you want.
  • One fob or tag per person who arms and disarms the alarm.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to start from a kit?

No. Skip the kit step and choose every part yourself, starting with the control panel.

Are the prices up to date?

Yes. Prices and stock are read live each time the page loads, and anything out of stock is not offered.

Can I mix Pyronix with other brands?

No. Wireless detectors only pair with their own maker's panel, so each kit stays within Pyronix.

Can I build a Texecom kit too?

Yes. See how to build a Texecom alarm kit.
