MS112GMP — Mercusys 12-Port Gigabit Desktop Switch with 8-Port PoE+
The Mercusys MS112GMP is a 12-port gigabit desktop switch with eight 802.3af/at PoE+ ports sharing a 110 W budget (up to 30 W per port), two gigabit RJ45 uplinks and two gigabit SFP slots. Switching capacity is 24 Gbps, and the fanless steel case can sit on a desk or mount on a wall.
What the MS112GMP is for
It is built for CCTV and small business networks: eight IP cameras or access points powered from one switch, with the uplinks going to the NVR and router. 110 W covers eight typical 802.3af cameras with headroom, or a mix of PoE+ cameras and Wi-Fi access points.
Extend Mode pushes PoE and data to 250 m on ports 1-4 (at 10 Mbps) for cameras at the far end of a car park or yard, and the SFP slots allow a fibre link to another building. Browse more PoE switches or network switches.

Cat5e or Cat6 cable to each camera or access point (up to 100 m, or 250 m in Extend Mode), and SFP modules if you are using the fibre slots.

What is the PoE budget of the MS112GMP?
110 W shared across the eight PoE+ ports, with up to 30 W on any single port.
Is the MS112GMP managed?
No. It is plug and play with hardware switches for Extend, Isolation and Priority modes; there is no web interface to configure.
Can I run PoE cameras further than 100 m?
Yes. Extend Mode on ports 1-4 reaches 250 m, with the port speed dropping to 10 Mbps, which is fine for most single cameras.
What are the SFP slots for?
Two gigabit SFP slots let you link to another switch or building over fibre with suitable SFP modules.
MS112GMP or MS108GP?
The MS108GP has 7 PoE+ ports and 65 W; the MS112GMP adds an eighth PoE port, 110 W, a second uplink and two SFP slots.
