Texecom BAT001 7.2V 250mAh NiMH Battery for Wired Bells
The Texecom BAT001 is the genuine rechargeable standby battery for Texecom wired external sounders. Fitted inside the bell box, it keeps the sounder powered if the supply from the control panel is cut or the cable is tampered with, so the sounder can still operate when it matters.
The pack is a 7.2V nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery rated at 250mAh and is recharged by the sounder while the system is powered. Replacing an ageing battery is a routine part of alarm maintenance and helps avoid low-battery faults at the panel.

Compatibility
For Texecom wired external sounders such as the Odyssey bell box range. It is not used in the Odyssey X range (WDC and WDD models), which take AA lithium batteries instead. Check the battery fitted to your sounder before ordering.
