The TP-Link Pharos CPE710 is a 5 GHz 802.11ac outdoor CPE with a 23 dBi high-gain directional 2x2 MIMO antenna, delivering up to 867 Mbps. It has a gigabit shielded Ethernet port, an IP65 enclosure and is powered by passive PoE (24 V adapter included).

The CPE710 is the fastest Pharos CPE, suited to long links carrying CCTV or business traffic; its narrow 9° beam keeps the link focused and less prone to interference.

What you will need

One CPE at each end of the link (two for point-to-point), clear line of sight, outdoor-rated network cable, and the passive PoE adapter supplied. Pharos CPEs use passive PoE, not 802.3af/at, so do not connect them directly to a standard PoE switch.

What speed is the CPE710?

Up to 867 Mbps at 80 MHz (TP-Link). It is the only gigabit, 802.11ac model in our Pharos CPE range.

How is the CPE710 powered?

Passive PoE only (16-27 V DC on pins 4,5 + / 7,8 -), with a 24 V adapter in the box. Do not connect it straight to an 802.3af/at PoE switch port.

CPE710 or CPE605?

Both use 23 dBi dishes. The CPE710 is 802.11ac 867 Mbps with a gigabit port; the CPE605 is 802.11n 150 Mbps with a 10/100 port.

Is the CPE710 weatherproof?

Yes. IP65, with 6 kV lightning protection and an operating range of -40 to 70 °C.

Is the CPE710 Omada compatible?

No. It is a Pharos product, managed through its web interface and the free Pharos Control software, not an Omada controller. For an Omada-managed long-range link see the Beam Bridge 5 UR KIT.

How quickly can I get it?

We ship nationally from our multi-million pound warehouse, with orders leaving daily. Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally dispatched for delivery within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales. You can also collect in store from our trade counter — call first so we can confirm your order is ready. We do not ship to Northern Ireland.

Can I collect or see one before buying?
