The TP-Link Omada Beam Bridge 5 UR KIT is a pre-configured 5 GHz point-to-point wireless bridge kit with 23 dBi high-gain directional antennas, rated by TP-Link for links of up to 15 km (9.3 mi) at up to 867 Mbps. The Beam Bridge has a gigabit port, an IP65 enclosure and runs from 802.3af PoE or 24/48 V passive PoE.

How far can the Beam Bridge 5 UR KIT transmit?

TP-Link quote up to 15 km (9.3 mi). That assumes clear line of sight; trees, buildings and terrain between the ends shorten the usable range.

How is the Beam Bridge 5 UR powered?

802.3af PoE (pins 1,2 / 3,6) or 24 V / 48 V passive PoE (pins 4,5 / 7,8). A passive PoE adapter is included, or use any 802.3af or 802.3at PoE switch, for example the Omada SG2210MP. Max draw is 15.8 W.

Does the Beam Bridge 5 UR KIT need an Omada controller?

No. It works standalone (web or Omada app), and can be centrally managed by an Omada controller such as the OC200 or OC300, or Omada Central.

Can I use the Beam Bridge 5 UR KIT to connect CCTV cameras in another building?

Yes, that is a common use: bridge the network to an outbuilding, gatehouse or car park and connect IP cameras there. The far-end cameras still need a PoE switch or injector at that end.

Beam Bridge 5 UR KIT or EAP215-Bridge KIT?

The Beam Bridge 5 UR uses 23 dBi dishes for up to 15 km; the EAP215-Bridge KIT is a compact 5 km kit with three gigabit ports. Choose by distance.

Yes. IP65 enclosure, ±6 kV lightning protection on the Ethernet port and an operating range of -40 to 70 °C.

How quickly can I get it?

We ship nationally from our multi-million pound warehouse, with orders leaving daily. Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally dispatched for delivery within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales. You can also collect in store from our trade counter — call first so we can confirm your order is ready. We do not ship to Northern Ireland.
