The TP-Link Omada OC200 is a compact Omada hardware controller, recommended by TP-Link for managing 25 Omada devices. It has two gigabit Ethernet ports, a USB 2.0 port, and is powered by 802.3af/at PoE or Micro USB (5 V, minimum 1 A).
What the OC200 is for
The OC200 is the low-cost way to run an always-on Omada controller for a small business, shop, office or home: plug it into a PoE switch and it manages your Omada access points, switches and gateway, with remote access through the Omada app.
It gives you centralised configuration, firmware upgrades, monitoring and captive portal for Omada access points without leaving a PC running.

What you will need
A PoE port on your switch (any 802.3af/at port, for example on the Omada SG2210MP) or a Micro USB 5 V/1 A supply. An Ethernet cable is included.

We will go through the OC200 with you before you buy — how many Omada devices and sites you will manage, and whether a hardware controller, the free software controller or Omada Central cloud suits you best — and depending on your requirements and your area we can recommend a qualified trade installer. How many devices can the OC200 manage?
TP-Link recommend it for managing 25 Omada devices.
Is the OC200 PoE powered?
Yes. It takes 802.3af/at PoE, so any 802.3af or 802.3at PoE switch, for example the Omada SG2210MP or SG2016P powers it. It can also run from a Micro USB 5 V, 1 A supply.
OC200 or OC300?
For larger estates, the OC300 manages up to 500 APs and is rack mounted.
Do I need a controller for Omada access points?
Omada APs such as the EAP610 can run standalone, but a controller is needed for central management of several devices and for cloud access. Alternatives are the free Omada Software Controller or Omada Central.
Can I manage the OC200 remotely?
Yes. TP-Link list cloud access, so the site can be managed remotely through the Omada app or web portal.
How quickly can I get it?
We ship nationally from our multi-million pound warehouse, with orders leaving daily. Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally dispatched for delivery within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales. You can also collect in store from our trade counter — call first so we can confirm your order is ready. We do not ship to Northern Ireland.
