The TP-Link DR3220V-4G is a rackmount Omada router with a VDSL/ADSL modem (VDSL profile 35b up to 350/60 Mbps), a 4G+ Cat6 modem (300 Mbps down) on a dual nano SIM slot, a gigabit SFP/RJ45 combo WAN/LAN port, four gigabit LAN ports, two FXS ports and a USB 3.0 port. It has no Wi-Fi.

What the DR3220V-4G is for

The DR3220V-4G is for comms cabinets: DSL, fibre (via SFP) or Ethernet broadband with 4G failover, plus VoIP for analogue phones, in a rack unit with an internal power supply. It suits offices, surgeries and shops where the router lives in the rack with the switches.

Wi-Fi comes from Omada access points, managed with the router in an Omada controller or Omada Cloud.

What you will need

A DSL line or broadband feed, a nano SIM with a data plan for 4G, a 19-inch rack (kit included) and an SFP module if using fibre. An antenna extension base is included.

Does the TP-Link DR3220V-4G have Wi-Fi?

No. It is a wired rackmount router. Add Omada access points for Wi-Fi.

Can the DR3220V-4G fail over to 4G?

Yes. Load balancing and link backup work across DSL, the combo WAN port and the 4G+ Cat6 modem.

What SIM does it take?

One dual-SIM nano SIM slot (4G+ Cat6).

Is the DR3220V-4G rack mountable?

Yes. It is 294 x 180 x 44 mm and a rackmount kit is included.

Is it Omada compatible?

Yes. It works standalone through its own web interface, or can be adopted by an Omada software controller, hardware controller (OC200/OC300) or Omada Cloud so it is managed with your Omada switches and access points. SD-WAN works only in controller mode.

Is there a desktop version with Wi-Fi?

Yes, the DR3650V-4G adds AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 in a desktop case.

How quickly can I get it?

We ship nationally from our multi-million pound warehouse, with orders leaving daily. Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally dispatched for delivery within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales. You can also collect in store from our trade counter.
