The TP-Link DR3650V-4G is an Omada router with three ways online: a VDSL/ADSL modem (VDSL profile 35b up to 350/60 Mbps), a 4G+ Cat6 modem (300 Mbps down) with dual nano SIM slots, and a gigabit WAN/LAN port. It adds AX3000 Wi-Fi 6, two FXS VoIP ports and four gigabit LAN ports.

What the DR3650V-4G is for

The DR3650V-4G suits businesses that cannot afford downtime: run on FTTC or fibre and let 4G take over if the line fails, or run on 4G where a line is not yet installed. Two FXS ports connect analogue phones to a VoIP service.

Wi-Fi 6 is built in, and Omada access points and switches can be added and managed from an Omada controller or Omada Cloud.

What you will need

A DSL line or broadband on the WAN port, a nano SIM with a data plan for 4G, and a VoIP account for the FXS ports. Ethernet and phone cables are included.

What 4G does the TP-Link DR3650V-4G have?

A 4G+ Cat6 modem with up to 300 Mbps download, with dual nano SIM slots. Full band details are in the TP-Link datasheet; ask us to check them against your UK network.

Can the DR3650V-4G fail over from broadband to 4G?

Yes. It supports load balancing and link backup, so 4G can take over if the DSL or Ethernet WAN goes down.

Does the DR3650V-4G support VoIP?

Yes, with two FXS ports for analogue phones.

What VPN does it support?

IPsec (around 540 to 570 Mbps), WireGuard, OpenVPN, SSL VPN, L2TP and PPTP.

Is it Omada compatible?

Yes. It works standalone through its own web interface, or can be adopted by an Omada software controller, hardware controller (OC200/OC300) or Omada Cloud so it is managed with your Omada switches and access points. SD-WAN works only in controller mode.

DR3650V-4G or DR3650V?

How quickly can I get it?

We ship nationally from our multi-million pound warehouse, with orders leaving daily. Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally dispatched for delivery within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales. You can also collect in store from our trade counter.
