The TP-Link ER706WP-4G is an Omada tp link 4g router with a 4G+ Cat6 modem (300 Mbps down), dual nano SIM slots, AX3000 Wi-Fi 6 and four PoE+ ports with a 45 W budget, plus a gigabit SFP WAN/LAN port and a gigabit WAN port.
What the ER706WP-4G is for
The ER706WP-4G is an all-in-one gateway for small sites: 4G or broadband internet, Wi-Fi 6 and PoE+ to power a couple of Omada access points or IP cameras, all in one steel desktop or wall-mount case. Dual SIMs and multi-WAN failover keep it online if one link drops.
It is managed standalone or through an Omada controller or Omada Cloud with the rest of your Omada network. For more PoE power add an Omada PoE switch.

Does the ER706WP-4G support failover?
Yes. Load balancing and link backup work across the 4G modem and wired WAN ports.
Is the ER706WP-4G Omada compatible?
Yes. It works standalone through its own web interface, or can be adopted by an Omada software controller, hardware controller (OC200/OC300) or Omada Cloud so it is managed with your Omada switches and access points. SD-WAN works only in controller mode.
What is the difference from the ER706W-4G?
The ER706W-4G has the same 4G and Wi-Fi 6 but no PoE output.
