POE10E — TP-Link Omada Fast Ethernet PoE+ Extender
The TP-Link POE10E is an Omada Fast Ethernet PoE+ extender with a 10/100 Mbps PoE-in port and a 10/100 Mbps PoE-out port supplying up to 20 W, compatible with 802.3af/at devices, with up to 250 m range in 10 Mbps mode.
What the POE10E is for
A PoE extender sits in the middle of a long PoE run, passing data and power on to a device beyond the normal 100 m Ethernet limit. It is powered by the PoE coming in from a PoE switch or injector, so it needs no local power.
It suits IP cameras at the far end of a car park or yard. TP-Link quote up to 250 m of data and power in 10 Mbps mode, and it is plug and play in a small case.
