The TP-Link POE20E-Outdoor is an Omada gigabit PoE+ extender rated IP68, with a gigabit PoE-in port and a gigabit PoE-out port supplying up to 30 W, compatible with 802.3af/at devices, operating from -40 to 65 °C.
What the POE20E-Outdoor is for
A PoE extender sits in the middle of a long PoE run, passing data and power on to a device beyond the normal 100 m Ethernet limit. It is powered by the PoE coming in from a PoE switch or injector, so it needs no local power. The IP68 housing mounts outdoors on a pole or wall, ideal for perimeter cameras and outdoor access points.
TP-Link quote up to 250 m in 10 Mbps mode and 6 kV lightning protection, and include waterproofing parts and a ground wire.
