The TP-Link Omada SM6110-LR is a dual-rate 25G/10G SFP28 transceiver for single-mode fibre, 1310 nm, duplex LC, up to 10 km. It plugs into an SFP28 slot on a switch, server or router to add a fibre link.

What the SM6110-LR is for

An SFP28 module like the SM6110-LR is for 25G links between an Omada network switch and a distant switch, for example between buildings on a campus or site, over single-mode fibre.

TP-Link list DDM, hot-swap support and SFP-MSA compliance for the SM6110-LR, so it can be fitted or replaced without powering the switch down. Both ends of a link must use matching module types and the right fibre.
