The TP-Link Omada SM6110-SR is a dual-rate 25G/10G SFP28 transceiver for multi-mode fibre, 850 nm, duplex LC, up to 100 m on OM4 at 25G. It plugs into an SFP28 slot on a switch, server or router to add a fibre link.

What the SM6110-SR is for

An SFP28 module like the SM6110-SR is for 25G links between an Omada network switch and another switch, a server or storage, typically across a comms room or between floors on multi-mode fibre.

TP-Link list DDM, hot-swap support and SFP-MSA compliance for the SM6110-SR, so it can be fitted or replaced without powering the switch down. Both ends of a link must use matching module types and the right fibre.
