The TP-Link VIGI InSight S445S is a 4MP (2688 × 1520) ColorPro 2.0 turret network camera with a fixed 2.8 mm F1.0 lens, ColorPro 2.0 low-light imaging with integrated IR/white LEDs to 30 m, two-way audio and an IP67 metal housing. It is powered by PoE+ (802.3at, Class 4) or 12V DC.

What the InSight S445S is for

A turret suits soffits and walls on homes, shops and small offices, and its ball-in-socket design avoids IR reflection from a dome bubble. Record it on a network video recorder or browse our other turret IP cameras.

As a TP-Link VIGI camera it can be viewed and managed with the VIGI App, VIGI Security Manager, VIGI VMS and VIGI Cloud VMS, recorded by a VIGI NVR, or used with third-party recorders over ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface (Profile S/T/G)).

What you will need

A PoE+ (802.3at) port for each camera, from a VIGI PoE NVR or a TP-Link PoE switch, and network cable to each camera. For continuous recording add an NVR with a surveillance hard drive, or fit a microSD card (not included) for on-camera storage.

Does the InSight S445S work with a non-VIGI NVR?

It works with VIGI NVRs and supports ONVIF Open Network Video Interface (Profile S/T/G), so it can be added to third-party ONVIF recorders. The full set of smart detection features is supported on a VIGI NVR.

Is the InSight S445S PoE powered?

Yes, but it needs 802.3at PoE+ (Class 4, up to 17.9 W power). A standard 802.3af port is not enough. It can also run on 12V DC.

Does the InSight S445S record in colour at night?

Yes. Its ColorPro 2.0 sensor works in very low light, and the white LEDs can light the scene for full-colour images up to 30 m, or it can switch to IR for discreet black-and-white night vision. The light mode can be set to auto, scheduled, always on or off.

Does it record audio?

Yes. It has a built-in microphone (around a 5 m pickup radius) and a speaker for two-way audio. Check local rules on audio recording before enabling it.

How quickly can I get it?

We ship nationally from our multi-million pound warehouse, with orders leaving daily. Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally dispatched for delivery within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales. You can also collect in store from our trade counter — call first so we can confirm your order is ready. We do not ship to Northern Ireland.
