The TP-Link VIGI NVR1016H is a 16-channel network video recorder with 80 Mbps incoming bandwidth, recording up to 8MP and 1 SATA bay (up to 10 TB). It has 4K HDMI and VGA outputs and is managed from the VIGI App, VIGI Security Manager or VIGI VMS.

What the NVR1016H is for

It records 16 IP cameras connected through a separate PoE switch, which suits sites where cameras are spread across a building and wired back to a network cabinet. Pair it with TP-Link VIGI IP cameras or see our full NVR range.

It works with VIGI cameras and with third-party cameras over ONVIF, and supports remote viewing and playback from the VIGI App.

What you will need

A surveillance hard drive (none is included): 1 SATA bay, up to 10 TB. Size it with our CCTV storage calculator. A PoE switch for the cameras, network cable to each camera, and a monitor with HDMI or VGA for local viewing.

Does the NVR1016H come with a hard drive?

No. It takes 1 SATA drive, up to 10 TB, supplied separately. Use a surveillance-rated drive such as WD Purple.

Does the NVR1016H have PoE?

No. Connect cameras through a separate PoE switch on the same network. For built-in PoE see the NVR2016H-16MP.

Will the NVR1016H work with other brands of camera?

It supports third-party cameras over ONVIF. The full set of smart detection features is supported with VIGI cameras. Send us your camera models and we will confirm.

What camera resolution can it record?

Up to 8MP per channel, so it handles VIGI InSight 4MP, 5MP and 8MP cameras.

How quickly can I get it?

We ship nationally from our multi-million pound warehouse, with orders leaving daily. Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally dispatched for delivery within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales. You can also collect in store from our trade counter — call first so we can confirm your order is ready. We do not ship to Northern Ireland.

Can I collect or see one before buying?
